What the shop
sells.
Gwen & Birdie Flower Co. LLC is a mercantile — and the shelves are the answer, not the sales pitch. Eleven aisles of tagged stock: sporting goods, craft supplies, fabric, music, books, flowers, gifts, resale, pet goods, art, manufactured homes, tobacco and twenty-six specialty lines.
The Salem shop keeps one register — items tagged, priced and shelved; the counter where every purchase lands. Stock that can't be tagged isn't merchandise; it's a museum with a till.
Resale runs under the same rule — used items sorted, priced and shelved with the same care as new stock. A secondhand shelf kept properly is still a shelf.
"An aisle isn't stocked when the goods arrive — it's stocked when every item is tagged."
